The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) refers to the communications equipment used onboard ship when emergencies strike, as well as the worldwide network of automated emergency communications for ships at sea.

LRIT

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) is a specialized United Nations agency responsible for the safety and security of shipping and the prevention of marine and atmospheric pollution by ships. The IMO designated the long-range identification and tracking (LRIT) system to collect and disseminate vessel position information received from IMO member state ships that are subject to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea.

Global Service Coordination Center (GSCC), provides on-request worldwide maritime service support. A global network of partnerships with major equipment manufacturers and authorized local service suppliers—established by Tototheo Maritime—stands ready to meet your needs.

Shore Based Maintenance

We offer SBM for an annual fee to direct all service activities for you; have units available for exchange; take over all communications and service administration expenses; and issue the required certification and paperwork.

Trainings

Only certified installers may commission the Fleet Xpress system. Tototheo experts will provide selected persons from your organization with the necessary theoretical and practical training in order to successfully complete the FX Classroom and On-The-Job training courses, required to independently install and commission FX systems for your fleet of vessels.
