It specifically targets ships that do not comply with the Energy Efficiency Existing Ship Index (EEXI), ensuring they meet new emission reduction standards. Designed in accordance with IACS EEXI guidelines (No. 172), ShaPoLi provides tamper-proof recording, processing, and calculation of shaft power data, readily accessible to the ship’s master or Officer in Charge of Navigational Watch (OICNW) should the shaft power exceed prescribed limits.

Propulsion Monitoring Technology
The Kyma Shaft Power Sensor excels in measuring shaft torque and thrust using the sophisticated strain gauge technique. This system consists of an aluminum ring mounted onto the shaft, a stationary unit, and a terminal junction box that facilitates signal and power connections. It displays essential propulsion data including power, rpm, torque, thrust, total energy power, and total revolutions on the Display Unit.
